
Front Office Manager
Are you an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience? InterContinental Hotels is looking for an enthusiastic, organized Front Office Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be an important member of our management team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure that our guests receive the highest standards of customer service.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with a proven track record of success in managing front-of-house operations. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and a positive attitude. You should also be able to think on your feet and adapt to changing circumstances quickly and efficiently. The ability to thrive under pressure and maintain a high level of customer service is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the front office, including the reception, reservations, and concierge services.
- Ensure that all guests receive a high level of customer service.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support to ensure that daily tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the front office and common areas.
- Monitor and review guest feedback and develop strategies to continuously improve the guest experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement new policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor budgets and costs associated with front office operations and ensure that these are kept within limits.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that all guest requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Lead and motivate the front office team to ensure that all goals and objectives are met.
