Job Description

As the Front Desk Agent at InterContinental Hotels, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to all guests and ensuring their stay is both pleasant and memorable. To excel in this role, you must have outstanding customer service skills, be reliable and organized, and have a strong knowledge of hotel policies and procedures. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, while remaining professional and courteous at all times. Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome guests upon arrival to the hotel
  2. Register and assign rooms to guests
  3. Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and attractions
  4. Provide information about local areas, services, and attractions
  5. Process payments, check-in, and check-out procedures
  6. Handle guest complaints and inquiries in a professional and efficient manner
  7. Ensure all guest requests and inquiries are answered promptly
  8. Maintain accurate records of guest information
  9. Use hotel software systems to check guests in and out
  10. Maintain a clean and tidy front desk area
  11. Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies
  12. Assist with other duties as assigned by the management team
