Duty Engineer
As Duty Engineer at the InterContinental Hotels, you will be responsible for providing exceptional maintenance and repair services for our guests and staff. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel areas are kept in pristine condition. We are looking for a motivated individual with exceptional problem-solving skills and a friendly demeanor.To be successful in this role you must possess a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You should also possess knowledge of building and safety regulations, mechanical systems, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities:
- Provide superior maintenance and repair services to guests and staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel areas to ensure they are kept in pristine condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical systems or equipment in the hotel.
- Respond to requests and inquiries from guests and staff.
- Ensure that all building and safety regulations are followed.
- Perform preventative maintenance as required.
- Maintain a professional attitude and friendly demeanor.

- Remain current and up-to-date with technical advancements.
