
DEI Manager, Early Careers
InterContinental Hotels is looking for an innovative and passionate DEI Manager, Early Careers to join our team in support of our commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.We believe that having a strong diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy, particularly when it comes to early careers, is essential for our company’s success. As our DEI Manager, Early Careers, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive DEI strategy for our early-career programs. You’ll collaborate with our Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and other teams to ensure that our early-career programs are equitable, diverse and inclusive.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DEI best practices, and be able to develop and implement innovative DEI initiatives for our early-career programs. Additionally, you should be able to build relationships with external partners, vendors and stakeholders to ensure that our early-career programs are reflective of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in a DEI-focused role• Demonstrated experience in program management and/or project management• Experience developing and executing DEI initiatives• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written• Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders• Knowledge of employment law and best practicesIf you’re excited to join our team and take on this important role, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute a comprehensive DEI strategy for InterContinental Hotels' early-career programs -Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and other teams to ensure early-career programs are equitable, diverse, and inclusive -Develop and implement innovative DEI initiatives for early-career programs -Build relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure early-career programs are reflective of DEI commitment -Maintain knowledge of employment law and best practices -Provide written and verbal communication on DEI initiatives to stakeholders -Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of DEI initiatives and programs related to early-careers
