Job Description

As a Catering Sales Manager at InterContinental Hotels, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth through pro-active and strategic sales efforts. You will be the face of the hotel, representing the property at local functions and network events. To be successful in this role, you must be a strategic thinker, possess strong sales acumen, and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to increase profitable sales growth.
  2. Represent the hotel at local functions and network events.
  3. Build relationships with potential clients to foster business opportunities.
  4. Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
  5. Negotiate contracts with clients to maximize revenue.
  6. Monitor the market and competition to identify potential opportunities.
  7. Maintain accurate records of client meetings, sales leads, and contracts.
  8. Provide excellent customer service to clients.
  9. Work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the hotel services and amenities.
