Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized Banquet Manager to join the team at InterContinental Hotels. This individual should have a passion for providing exceptional service and be eager to help create memorable events for our guests. As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for managing all banquet operations, from planning and organizing special events to overseeing staff and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in event planning and management, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and organize special events and banquets in accordance with customer needs and budget.
  2. Oversee banquet staff to ensure quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  3. Develop and implement operational procedures and policies related to banquet operations.
  4. Hire, train, and supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and other personnel.
  5. Manage the order and inventory of supplies and equipment needed for banquets.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Monitor banquet costs and ensure that budgets are met.
  8. Track event progress and provide timely updates to management.
  9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  10. Maintain a detailed knowledge of event menus, services, and promotions.
