- Design, build and maintain the platform infrastructure for Intercontinental Exchange's financial services and technology solutions.
- Develop and implement automation processes to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in systems engineering to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems and processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure meets the needs of new products and features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the platform infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call and after-hours support as needed.

Extensive Experience In Systems Automation: A Senior Platform Engineer Should Have A Strong Background In Developing Automated Systems And Processes, Using Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Complex Automation Workflows That Improve Efficiency And Reduce Manual Efforts.
Expertise In Cloud Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud. They Should Have Experience In Designing, Building, And Managing Highly Available And Scalable Cloud-Based Systems.
Strong Programming Skills: A Senior Platform Engineer Should Possess Excellent Programming Skills, With Proficiency In Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Ruby. They Should Be Able To Write Clean, Efficient, And Maintainable Code To Automate Tasks And Build Tools To Support The Platform.
