- Collaborate with team members to evaluate and improve the functionality of the loan origination system (LOS) for our mortgage products.
- Utilize expertise and knowledge of mortgage lending processes to identify areas for improvement in the LOS.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient and effective use of the LOS, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor team members on the use of the LOS and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis of the LOS, identifying and addressing any issues or glitches.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in LOS technology, and make recommendations for updates and enhancements to the system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the LOS with other systems and processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all LOS processes and procedures.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on LOS performance and progress.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot any technical or operational issues related to the LOS.
- Lead and participate in meetings and discussions related to LOS development and implementation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the LOS for the company and provide guidance to other teams as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, in regards to the use of the LOS.
- Continuously strive to improve the usability and efficiency of the LOS to enhance the overall mortgage lending experience for our customers.
Extensive Experience In Mortgage Industry: A Senior Mortgage Los Consultant At Intercontinental Exchange Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience Working In The Mortgage Industry, Preferably In A Consulting Or Advisory Role. This Experience Should Include A Deep Understanding Of Loan Origination Systems And Processes.
Strong Knowledge Of Los Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Loan Origination Software, Including Encompass, Calyx, Or Ellie Mae. They Should Also Have Experience In Configuring And Customizing These Systems To Meet Specific Business Needs.
Project Management Skills: As A Senior Mortgage Los Consultant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading Complex Projects For Clients. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Create Project Plans, Manage Timelines, And Oversee Project Budgets, Are Essential.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Successful Senior Mortgage Los Consultant Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Solve Complex Problems. They Should Also Have A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Identify And Resolve Issues Before They Escalate.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Clients, Stakeholders, And Internal Teams. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must.
