  1. Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications using Java and related technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  4. Participate in code reviews, identify and resolve technical issues, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  5. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and recommend new tools and techniques to improve the development process.
  6. Work closely with product managers and project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate solutions.
  8. Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications.
  9. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure high-quality and bug-free software releases.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide regular project updates and highlight potential roadblocks.
  11. Continuously monitor and improve the performance and scalability of software applications.
  12. Adhere to company coding standards, development processes, and security guidelines.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert for Java development and provide technical guidance and assistance to other team members.
  14. Proactively identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and promote a positive work culture within the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Java Development: As A Senior Java Developer At Intercontinental Exchange, Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Developing Java-Based Applications, With A Strong Understanding Of Java Language And Its Various Frameworks.

  • Proficiency In Object-Oriented Programming: A Senior Java Developer Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Object-Oriented Programming Principles, Design Patterns, And Best Practices. They Should Be Able To Apply These Concepts To Create Efficient And Scalable Software Solutions.
