In this role, you will play a critical role in monitoring and maintaining the integrity of our options trading floor. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong understanding of options trading and excellent communication skills to join our team.   1. Monitor and maintain the integrity of the options trading floor at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).
  2. Conduct thorough surveillance and analysis of all options trading activities.
  3. Identify and investigate any potential violations or irregularities.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement effective surveillance strategies.
  5. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and regulatory bodies.
  6. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  7. Utilize technical tools and systems to track and report on trading activities.
  8. Work closely with traders and other internal stakeholders to address any issues or concerns.
  9. Provide support and assistance during regulatory audits and examinations.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to options trading.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records of all surveillance activities.
  12. Ensure all surveillance processes and procedures are in line with industry standards.
  13. Proactively identify and report any potential risks or vulnerabilities in the options trading floor.
  14. Assist in the implementation of new surveillance technologies and processes.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on options trading and surveillance for the broader team.
  16. Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Options Trading: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Options Trading, Including Various Strategies, Risk Management Techniques, And Market Dynamics.

  • Experience In Market Surveillance: Previous Experience In A Market Surveillance Or Compliance Role, Preferably Within The Options Market, Is Highly Desirable. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And The Ability To Identify And Investigate Unusual Trading Activity.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Floor Surveillance Analyst, The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Patterns Or Anomalies Is Essential. Candidates Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Make Quick Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Other Departments, Exchanges, And Regulatory Bodies. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Crucial For Effectively Conveying Information And Addressing Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Attention To Detail: The Options Market Is Highly Regulated, And Even Small Errors Can Have Significant Consequences. A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A High Level Of Attention To Detail, Ensuring Accuracy In All Tasks And Processes.
