- Oversee all procurement activities for the organization, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods and services.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Lead vendor selection and manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality products and services are obtained.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay current on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to drive results.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of procurement expenses.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in all procurement activities.
- Represent the company in negotiations with suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective procurement solutions.
- Drive innovation and seek out new technologies and strategies to improve procurement processes and results.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Sourcing, Or Supply Chain Management.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Negotiating Contracts And Vendor Relationships.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities.
