- Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify and analyze evidence related to cybersecurity incidents, including but not limited to network intrusions, data breaches, and malware attacks.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to collect and preserve digital evidence in a forensically sound manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and law enforcement, to ensure timely and thorough investigations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for digital forensic investigations and incident response processes.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely and effective manner, containing and remediating the threat to minimize impact.
- Document and report findings and recommendations from investigations and incident response activities.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members on digital forensic techniques and incident response best practices.
- Participate in tabletop exercises and other training activities to enhance the team's readiness and response capabilities.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all digital evidence and investigative findings.
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to digital forensics and incident response.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Computer And Network Systems, As Well As Operating Systems And Software.
Familiarity With Industry Standard Digital Forensic And Incident Response Tools.
Certifications Such As Encase Certified Examiner (Ence), Giac Certified Forensic Analyst (Gcfa), Or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Are Preferred.
