As a Scanning Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our scanning operations. If you have a passion for customer service and a knack for numbers, we want to hear from you! Join us in providing exceptional service and quality products to our valued customers.

  1. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in scanning operations by regularly reviewing and updating prices in the system.
  2. Maintain organization and cleanliness of scanning equipment and work area.
  3. Train and supervise other team members on proper scanning procedures and protocols.
  4. Troubleshoot any scanning issues and report any technical problems to management.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to resolve any pricing discrepancies.
  6. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding scanning and pricing.
  7. Keep up-to-date with current promotions and sales to accurately reflect prices in the system.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper pricing and coordination of sales and promotions.
  9. Assist with inventory management and ordering of scanning supplies.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or questions related to scanning and pricing.
  11. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Ingles Markets to our valued customers.

  • Experience With Scanning Equipment: The Ideal Candidate For A Scanning Coordinator Position At Ingles Markets Should Have Experience Operating Various Types Of Scanning Equipment, Such As Barcode Scanners And Price Checkers.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Pricing And Inventory Management: A Strong Understanding Of Retail Pricing And Inventory Management Is Essential For A Scanning Coordinator. This Includes Knowledge Of Pricing Strategies, Inventory Tracking, And Merchandising.
