Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Facility Maintenance Clerk at Ingles Markets. As a Facility Maintenance Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores are well-maintained and functioning efficiently for our customers and employees.   1. Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on store equipment and facilities.
  2. Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and schedules.
  3. Coordinate with store managers and other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
  4. Order and stock necessary supplies for maintenance and repairs.
  5. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  6. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed while performing maintenance tasks.
  7. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and address them proactively.
  8. Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
  9. Keep the store clean and well-maintained, including outdoor areas and parking lots.
  10. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the facility maintenance manager.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline maintenance processes.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the company.
  15. Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on maintenance procedures and protocols.
