Quality Assurance and Environmental Health Safety Specialist
Audit safety compliance and assist management in developing and implementing loss prevention actions and programs to address audit findings. Track progress of all compliance activities. Assist all levels of plant management with development and implementation of department specific and general loss prevention activities and training programs designed to improve overall safety performance. Implement corporate or division Environmental, Safety, Health and Quality directives. Provide or facilitate appropriate compliance training. Develops documentation of the Company’s quality system to satisfy the standards of ISO-9001- 2015. Assist with internal audits associated with the quality system. Plan and schedule time to accomplish assigned responsibilities. Conducts and oversees the training of all company personnel in the quality documents along with the activities associated with those documents.
The ability to develop good working relationships at all levels of the organization is necessary.
EHS Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Faro portable CMM equipment preferred.
Knowledge of NDE inspection methods ( VT, PT, MT, UT, X Ray ) preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a QEHS environment as well as with the ISO certification process and procedures
