QA Technician

Performs inspection of machined parts, sub and final assemblies for conformance with assembly, engineering or other process specifications or instructions. Inspects parts and/or materials in the receiving, shipping or repairs areas to assure their conformance to engineering specifications, including materials specifications, drawings, and customer requested and engineering approve modifications. Complete FAI (First Article Inspection) of components from suppliers and internal departments. Inspects customer pumps to determine condition and extent of repair or overhaul required. When applicable, use Coordinate Measuring Machine. Calibrate and verify accuracy on precision measurement, thread gages, and test equipment. Maintains the calibration system to ensure product is measured by qualified equipment and gages. Creates, maintains, updates and files appropriate Quality documents in the system. Performs all work in accordance with established safety and quality management procedures.
