Product Engineer
Design and develop products, subassemblies or systems as related to the primary design function as well as special projects or contract orders as assigned. Creating / improving product design data as required -3D models, 2D drawings, or Bills of Material, etc. Produce or drive initial layout drawings. Analyze design ideas for functionality and modularity. Calculate operational capability of products and determines sizing and selection of accessories.. Analyze and solve product failures. Working within the budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time. Coordinating internal and external resources as needed. Verifying designs through calculation / analysis / computer aided modeling methods. Tracking progress of assigned projects.
Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing personnel and other functional areas within the organization.
Must be capable to work in a results-oriented atmosphere.
Piping design experience
Knowledge of pressure vessels, gas compression, heat transfer, or fluid dynamics preferred.
At least 5 years of practical engineering experience
