  1. Design and develop intuitive and user-friendly frontend applications for ING Group's digital platforms.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  3. Drive the development of new features and enhancements to improve the overall customer experience.
  4. Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve the frontend development process.
  5. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure coding standards are met.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience.
  7. Work closely with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and functional designs.
  8. Contribute to the planning and estimation of frontend development tasks.
  9. Mentor and guide junior frontend engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
  10. Collaborate with the testing team to ensure high-quality and bug-free releases.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide status updates on project progress.
  12. Proactively identify and address any technical challenges or roadblocks that may arise during development.
  13. Continuously monitor and optimize frontend performance, ensuring fast and responsive web applications.
  14. Adhere to company coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  15. Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration within the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Frontend Development: A Senior Frontend Engineer At Ing Group Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Frontend Development, With A Strong Understanding Of Html, Css, And Javascript. They Should Also Have Experience With Modern Frontend Frameworks Such As React Or Angular.

  • Strong Understanding Of Ui/Ux Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of User Interface And User Experience Design Principles. This Includes Knowledge Of Accessibility Standards, Responsive Design, And Cross-Browser Compatibility.

  • Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Mentoring A Team Of Frontend Developers. They Should Be Able To Provide Guidance, Direction, And Support To Junior Team Members.

  • Familiarity With Agile Methodology: Ing Group Follows An Agile Development Approach, So The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Agile Principles, Practices, And Tools Such As Jira And Scrum.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Frontend Engineer At Ing Group Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Other Team Members, Stakeholders, And Business Partners, And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver High-Quality Products.
