IT Security Engineer
At ING Group, we're looking for an IT Security Engineer to join our diverse and driven team. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT security, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for staying up to date on the latest security protocols. We're looking for someone who is eager to help safeguard our company data, and who can proactively identify and manage potential security threats.The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and best practices. Previous experience with security testing, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessments is also preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.If this sounds like you, then we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of all company data.
- Monitor and review IT security systems to identify any potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Perform security testing, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
- Monitor and respond to any security-related incidents.
- Investigate and analyze security breaches and take appropriate action.
- Document, report, and evaluate security incidents and activities.
- Stay up to date on the latest security technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical support and advice in order to ensure maximum security of all systems.
- Provide training and guidance to other staff members on IT security best practices.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of IT security plans.
