As a Functional Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and creating a seamless and efficient customer experience.   1. Conduct thorough analysis of existing KYC processes and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that enhance the customer experience while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices related to KYC interactions.
  4. Develop and maintain documentation of KYC processes, procedures, and controls.
  5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to KYC interactions, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
  6. Train and educate team members on KYC policies and procedures.
  7. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including compliance, risk management, and customer service teams.
  8. Utilize data and metrics to identify areas of risk and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Conduct regular audits and reviews of KYC processes to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  10. Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or discrepancies to management.
  11. Collaborate with IT teams to implement technological solutions to streamline KYC processes.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert for KYC processes, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  13. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive customer information.
  15. Represent the company and its values in interactions with customers, colleagues, and external parties.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Kyc Regulations And Compliance Procedures: A Functional Analyst For Kyc Interactions At Ing Group Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Kyc Regulations And Compliance Procedures, Both At A Local And Global Level.

  • Experience In Financial Services Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In The Financial Services Industry, Preferably In A Kyc Or Compliance-Related Role. This Will Ensure They Have A Good Understanding Of The Industry And Its Specific Requirements.

  • Analytical Skills: A Functional Analyst Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Patterns And Trends. They Should Also Be Able To Use This Data To Provide Insights And Recommendations For Process Improvement.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Functional Analyst For Kyc Interactions Involves Dealing With Large Amounts Of Data And Documentation, Which Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail. This Is Essential To Ensure Compliance With Regulatory Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As The Role Involves Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Compliance Teams, Business Units, And External Clients, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Build Relationships.
