- Manage the daily operations of derivatives trading activities, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all derivative transactions and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze trade activity to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial markets and derivatives products to effectively support the trading team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk.
- Generate and distribute reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in regulations related to derivatives trading.
- Communicate and coordinate with external counterparties, including brokers and custodians.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to enhance and streamline derivatives operations.
- Train and mentor junior team members to ensure a strong understanding of derivatives operations.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues to maintain a smooth and efficient operations process.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Derivatives Operations, Preferably In A Financial Institution
Strong Understanding Of Financial Products And Derivatives, Including Options, Futures, And Swaps
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Relevant Financial Software
Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, And Communication Skills, With A Keen Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Under Pressure In A Fast-Paced Environment.
