  1. Develop and implement credit risk policies in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis of existing policies and identify areas for improvement or updates.
  3. Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and monitor changes that may impact credit risk policies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and compliance, to ensure policies are in line with regulatory requirements.
  5. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of credit risk policies and make recommendations for updates or changes as needed.
  6. Ensure all policies are clearly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Provide expert guidance and support to the organization on credit risk policy matters.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and stay informed on any changes or updates to regulations.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs on credit risk policies and regulations to ensure understanding and compliance throughout the organization.
  10. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of credit risk policies and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to credit policies and regulations.
  12. Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert on credit risk policies and regulations for the organization.
  14. Participate in industry forums and conferences to stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in credit risk management.
  15. Mentor and train junior team members on credit risk policies and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Credit Risk Management Principles And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Credit Risk Policies And Regulations, Including Basel Iii, Dodd-Frank, And Other Relevant Guidelines.

  • Extensive Experience In Developing Credit Risk Policies: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Credit Risk Policies In A Financial Institution, Preferably At A Global Level.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Frameworks: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Frameworks For Credit Risk Management, Including Credit Risk Assessment Methodologies, Credit Scoring, And Stress Testing.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Credit Risk Policy & Regulations Expert Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Effective Solutions To Mitigate Them.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Credit Risk Policies And Regulations To Various Stakeholders Within The Organization. Additionally, Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams And Building Relationships With Regulators And External Stakeholders.
