Compliance Expert - Vice President

The ING Group is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Compliance Expert - Vice President to join our team and take on the challenge of supporting the organization's compliance requirements. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the relevant regulations and industry standards and be able to apply them to the business operations. They should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized and have a keen eye for detail. To be successful in this position, the candidate must have an advanced degree in a relevant field, five or more years of experience in a related role, and any applicable certifications. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in all business operations.
2. Provide advice and counsel on all legal and compliance matters.
3. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance.
4. Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and take corrective action when necessary.
5. Monitor changes in legal and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for necessary changes.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and industry standards.
7. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
9. Investigate compliance-related issues and prepare reports.
10. Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.
