Job Description

Infosys is looking for a Senior ArcGIS Consultant to join our team and provide expertise in geospatial software development. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual who is organized, analytical, and has a passion for problem solving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geographic information systems (GIS), geospatial analysis, and software development.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geospatial analysis, computer science, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in software development, GIS, or geospatial analysis• Proficiency in designing and developing GIS solutions using ArcGIS• Knowledge of geospatial databases and other GIS software tools• Ability to analyze complex data and develop data models• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities for Senior ArcGIS Consultant:

  1. Design and develop GIS solutions using ArcGIS.
  2. Analyze complex data and develop data models.
  3. Troubleshoot and debug existing GIS software solutions.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Work with other GIS and software development teams to ensure effective integration of GIS solutions.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for GIS solutions.
  7. Keep abreast of changes in GIS software and geospatial technologies.
  8. Monitor GIS systems to ensure optimal performance.
  9. Develop and implement plans for GIS system upgrades and maintenance.
  10. Develop and maintain a knowledge base of GIS software and data sources.
