  1. Develop and maintain mainframe applications and systems for clients using the latest technologies and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions for complex business problems.
  3. Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to mainframe systems and provide timely resolutions.
  4. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mainframe technology and incorporate them into project development.
  5. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in their learning and growth.
  6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients and team members, to gather requirements and provide project updates.
  7. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement them to increase efficiency and productivity.
  9. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and provide training to team members as needed.
  10. Adhere to company standards and best practices in coding, testing, and project management.
  11. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  12. Collaborate with the project manager to estimate project timelines and provide updates on progress.
  13. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project delivery.
  14. Stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet project deadlines.
  15. Represent the company and its values professionally to clients and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Mainframe Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience Working With Mainframe Technologies Such As Cobol, Jcl, Cics, And Db2.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Mainframe Architecture: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Mainframe Architecture And Its Components, Including Hardware, Software, And Networking.

  • Proficiency In Coding And Debugging: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Coding Background And Be Proficient In Debugging And Troubleshooting Complex Mainframe Applications.

  • Experience Working With Large-Scale Systems: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Large-Scale Mainframe Systems, Handling High Volumes Of Data And Transactions.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior Developer, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Lead A Team And Communicate With Clients. Therefore, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role.
