Job Description

As a Linux Administrator at Infosys, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing Linux systems. You must have a blend of technical and customer service skills, strong problem solving abilities, and a knack for learning new technologies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 2+ years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain Linux systems to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  3. Install, configure, and upgrade Linux systems.
  4. Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations.
  5. Perform security audits to ensure system compliance with organizational policies.
  6. Create and maintain system documentation.
  7. Provide technical support to users and customers.
  8. Research and evaluate new Linux technologies.
  9. Assist with system migration and integration projects.
  10. Develop scripts and automated processes to streamline system administration tasks.
