We are seeking a dynamic and driven Lead Account Executive to join our team at Information Builders. As a market leader in business intelligence and data management solutions, we are dedicated to helping our clients in the public sector maximize their data assets and make informed decisions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business and managing existing accounts within the public sector vertical.   1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business and increase revenue within the public sector vertical.
  2. Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and developments within the public sector market.
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions that meet the specific needs and requirements of clients.
  6. Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas, while maintaining a strong focus on profitability and revenue growth.
  7. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert on our business intelligence and data management solutions, providing clients with in-depth product knowledge and understanding.
  9. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our competitors, their products, and their strategies in the public sector market.
  10. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards goals using our CRM system.
  11. Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and potential business opportunities.
  12. Represent Information Builders at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and solutions.
  13. Mentor and coach junior sales team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
