Job Description

We at IKEA are looking for a talented and creative Store Interior Design Manager who can help us bring our vision of stylish, functional living to life in our stores. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic individual who has a strong eye for design and a passion for creating unique interior spaces.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field and at least 5 years of experience in retail store design and merchandising. We are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills and a strong sense of style who is able to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to design challenges. The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is essential.At IKEA, we are proud to provide our customers with inspiring, well-designed, functional and affordable home furnishings and accessories. Our Store Interior Design Manager will be a key part of this vision, helping to create inviting and inspiring shopping experiences that bring our products to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative store interior design plans for IKEA stores
  • Keep up to date with new trends in retail store design and merchandising
  • Analyze customer feedback and data to develop innovative solutions to design challenges
  • Oversee and coordinate the ordering, delivery, and installation of store furnishings and accessories
  • Manage the store design budget and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Manage a team of interior designers and other personnel to ensure efficient operations
  • Collaborate with other departments within IKEA to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Stay current on new design technologies and techniques to ensure the highest quality of work
  • Work with suppliers to source materials and products for store designs
