Job Description

Are you passionate about interior design and have a great eye for detail? IKEA is looking for an experienced Store Interior Design Manager to lead our team to create unique and inspiring store designs and displays that will captivate and excite our customers. We need someone who can bring an innovative approach, has a strong understanding of IKEA's design philosophy, and can collaborate with our teams to create the perfect shopping experience.To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in interior design, extensive experience in retail store design, and a deep knowledge of IKEA's products, values and design principles. You should also have excellent project management and communication skills, and be able to lead a multi-disciplinary team. Most importantly, you should be creative, have strong problem-solving skills, and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute creative and innovative store design concepts that align with IKEA's design philosophy and values.
  2. Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team to create store displays that are inspiring, captivating, and exciting for customers.
  3. Monitor and review store designs and displays to ensure that they are on-brand and in line with IKEA's standards.
  4. Manage and coordinate the activities of the store design team to ensure timely completion of projects.
  5. Work with store managers and other departments to ensure that store designs and displays are in line with the store's objectives.
  6. Analyze customer feedback and data to identify design trends and develop plans for future store design and display concepts.
  7. Provide guidance and technical support to store design team members.
  8. Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  9. Ensure that all store design projects are completed within budget and on time.
  10. Monitor and review new products and collections to ensure that designs are updated according to current trends.
