  1. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of IKEA's brand, products, and customer base.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform store layout and design decisions.
  3. Utilize strong design skills to create visually appealing and functional store layouts that align with IKEA's brand and values.
  4. Conduct regular store visits to assess the effectiveness of current layouts and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Continuously research and implement new and innovative ways to improve the customer shopping experience.
  6. Work closely with store managers to ensure that the store layout and design supports efficient and effective operations.
  7. Plan and execute seasonal updates and promotions, ensuring that they are visually appealing and well-organized.
  8. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary furniture and fixtures for store layouts.
  9. Monitor and analyze sales data to track the success of store layout and design changes.
  10. Train and mentor junior space planning team members, providing guidance and feedback to support their professional development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Interior Design, Architecture, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Space Planning And Design.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Retail Industry Trends And Customer Shopping Behavior.

  • Proficiency In Autocad, Sketchup, And Other Design Software.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
