  1. Design and Create Functional Retail Spaces: The Retail Space Planner will be responsible for designing and creating functional retail spaces that meet the needs of our customers and drive sales.
  2. Develop and Implement Space Planning Strategies: This individual will develop and implement space planning strategies that optimize the use of space in our retail stores and enhance the customer shopping experience.
  3. Conduct Market Research: The Retail Space Planner will conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends in interior design and retail, and use this knowledge to inform their space planning decisions.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: This individual will work closely with other teams within the company, such as merchandising and marketing, to ensure that retail spaces are aligned with overall business objectives.
  5. Create Visual Merchandising Displays: The Retail Space Planner will use their creativity to design visually appealing displays that showcase our products and entice customers to make purchases.
  6. Maintain Visual Standards: This individual will be responsible for maintaining the visual standards set by the company and ensuring that all retail spaces are consistently presented in a visually appealing and organized manner.
  7. Monitor and Analyze Sales Data: The Retail Space Planner will monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions when designing and updating retail spaces.
  8. Train and Mentor Team Members: This individual will train and mentor other team members on space planning and visual merchandising techniques to ensure consistency and quality across all retail spaces.
  9. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: The Retail Space Planner will stay updated on industry trends and best practices in space planning and visual merchandising to continuously improve our retail spaces.
  10. Adhere to Budget and Timelines: This individual will work within allocated budgets and timelines to ensure that all retail spaces are completed on time and within budget.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Interior Design, Architecture, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Retail Design Or Space Planning, Preferably In The Home Furnishings Industry.

  • Proficiency In Autocad And Other Design Software.

  • Strong Understanding Of Customer Behavior And Retail Trends.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
