  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective and visually appealing store layouts that align with IKEA's brand and values.
  2. Utilize sales data, customer behavior, and industry trends to analyze and improve store layouts.
  3. Conduct regular store walkthroughs to assess the effectiveness of current layouts and make necessary adjustments.
  4. Partner with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure products are presented in an attractive and functional manner.
  5. Work closely with the Store Manager to understand store goals and objectives and develop plans to achieve them.
  6. Implement and maintain visual standards and guidelines for store layouts.
  7. Use space planning software and tools to create efficient and practical store layouts.
  8. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and placement of products.
  9. Train and mentor team members on space planning principles and best practices.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in space planning technology.
  11. Participate in store renovation and expansion projects to ensure layouts are optimized for maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
  12. Collaborate with the Marketing team to create engaging and impactful promotional displays.
  13. Maintain accurate records of store layouts and ensure they are updated and accessible to all relevant teams.
  14. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and make necessary adjustments to store layouts.
  15. Attend and contribute to team meetings and workshops to share ideas and strategies for improving the customer shopping experience at IKEA.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Retail Design Principles And Experience In Space Planning For Large Retailers.

  • Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software And Knowledge Of Industry Standard Tools Such As Revit, Autocad And Sketchup.

  • Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Meeting Tight Deadlines And Staying Within Budget.
