  1. Develop and implement store layouts that align with IKEA's brand and concept, while also considering customer flow and operational efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with various teams, including merchandising, marketing, and operations, to understand their needs and incorporate them into the store layout.
  3. Conduct regular store walks to assess the effectiveness of current layouts and make necessary adjustments to improve the customer shopping experience.
  4. Utilize software and tools to create detailed and accurate floor plans and 3D renderings.
  5. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and make data-driven decisions regarding store layout and design.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in retail space planning to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
  7. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fixtures and merchandise to support store layout changes.
  8. Train and mentor team members on space planning principles and techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy across all store locations.
  9. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve the overall customer experience in our stores.
  10. Uphold IKEA's values and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Retail Design Principles And Space Planning Concepts.

  • Proficiency In Autocad And Other Design Software, With The Ability To Create 2D And 3D Floor Plans And Renderings.

  • Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
