As a Retail Space Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our stores are visually appealing and optimized for maximum customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, innovative, and has a keen eye for design.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for optimizing retail space in IKEA stores, taking into consideration customer behavior, product placement, and overall store layout.
  2. Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create attractive and visually appealing displays that align with the IKEA brand and values.
  3. Conduct research and analyze customer data to identify trends and make informed decisions on store layout and product placement.
  4. Use creativity and innovative thinking to constantly improve and evolve the retail space to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  5. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies and events that drive customer traffic and sales.
  6. Monitor and track sales performance and customer feedback to make adjustments to the retail space as needed.
  7. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to ensure IKEA stores remain competitive and appealing to customers.
  8. Collaborate with store managers and other departments to ensure efficient and effective use of retail space, taking into consideration operational needs and budget constraints.
  9. Manage and maintain inventory levels for all display and promotional materials, ensuring they are always available for use.
  10. Train and mentor new team members on retail space planning processes and procedures.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to retail space planning to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Retail Space Planning Principles And Techniques, With A Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role.

  • Proficiency In Autocad And Other Design Software, With The Ability To Produce Accurate And Detailed Floor Plans And 3D Renderings.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders To Develop Effective Space Plans.
