Job Description

Welcome to IKEA! We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Retail Forklift Driver to join our team.   1. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  2. Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and move it to designated areas within the store.
  3. Keep track of inventory and ensure accurate placement of items using forklift.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  5. Assist with customer service duties, such as helping customers with their purchases and answering any questions they may have.
  6. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, safety, and inventory management.
  7. Report any issues or malfunctions with the forklift immediately to the supervisor.
  8. Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  9. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
  10. Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to forklift operation.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing the IKEA brand to customers and colleagues.
  12. Continuously identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  13. Follow all company guidelines for proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  14. Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to forklift operation.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification: A Retail Forklift Driver At Ikea Should Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification To Ensure Safe And Efficient Operation Of Forklifts In The Store.
