Job Description

  1. Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner to transport merchandise from the warehouse to the retail floor.
  2. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols while operating the forklift.
  3. Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
  4. Load and unload merchandise onto and off of trucks using the forklift.
  5. Store merchandise in designated areas in an organized and accessible manner.
  6. Work closely with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure accurate and timely movement of merchandise.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the forklift and warehouse.
  8. Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to merchandise handling and storage.
  9. Maintain and update forklift maintenance records and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  10. Assist with inventory counts and ensure accuracy of merchandise counts.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and efficient completion of tasks.
  12. Attend training sessions and stay updated on forklift operation and safety procedures.
  13. Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet productivity goals.
  14. Comply with all IKEA values and promote a positive work environment.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From A Recognized Training Institute.
