  1. Collaborate with the store design team to plan and execute the installation of new displays and layouts.
  2. Utilize your expertise in carpentry to construct and assemble displays, ensuring they meet IKEA's high standards for quality and safety.
  3. Continuously evaluate and improve existing displays to keep them fresh and appealing to customers.
  4. Keep up-to-date with new product releases and incorporate them into displays in a visually appealing and functional manner.
  5. Utilize your strong eye for design to create displays that reflect the IKEA brand and attract customers.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise during the construction and installation process.
  8. Ensure all displays are completed in a timely manner, meeting deadlines set by management.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with any questions or concerns regarding displays and products.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Finish Carpentry: This Includes Skills In Installing And Repairing Woodwork, Trim, Cabinetry, And Other Finishings Commonly Found In Retail Spaces.

  • Knowledge Of Ikea Products And Design: A Strong Understanding Of Ikea's Product Offerings And Design Principles Is Essential For A Retail Finish Carpenter To Effectively Install And Maintain Displays And Fixtures.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints: As Part Of The Installation Process, A Retail Finish Carpenter Must Be Able To Read And Understand Detailed Blueprints And Diagrams To Ensure Precise And Accurate Construction.

  • Familiarity With Safety Protocols: Working In A Retail Environment Requires Strict Adherence To Safety Guidelines And Regulations. A Qualified Retail Finish Carpenter Should Have Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Practices To Ensure A Safe And Secure Work Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Retail Finish Carpenter Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Other Members Of The Installation Team, As Well As Store Management And Other Departments Within Ikea. This Includes Being Able To Follow Instructions And Provide Updates On Project Progress.
