Job Description

Looking for a skilled and experienced Retail Finish Carpenter to join our IKEA team! As a Retail Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of our store's fixtures, displays, and furniture. We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship to ensure our store maintains its high-quality standards.   1. Install and maintain store fixtures, displays, and furniture according to IKEA standards.
  2. Ensure all installations are completed efficiently and accurately.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure fixtures and displays are in good condition.
  4. Collaborate with store design team to implement new displays and fixtures.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with fixtures, displays, or furniture.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  8. Communicate regularly with store management to provide updates on installations and maintenance.
  9. Train and mentor new team members on proper installation techniques and IKEA standards.
  10. Continuously strive to improve and maintain high-quality standards for the store's appearance.
  11. Keep updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance the store's overall aesthetic.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of fixtures and displays with store layout and design.
  13. Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines.
  14. Maintain accurate records of all installations and maintenance work.
  15. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from store management or customers regarding fixtures, displays, or furniture.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Finish Carpentry: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Finish Carpentry, With A Proven Track Record Of Delivering High-Quality Work.

  • Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Blueprints: A Retail Finish Carpenter At Ikea Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Reading And Interpreting Blueprints, As They Will Be Responsible For Executing The Design Plans Accurately.

  • Knowledge Of Different Carpentry Techniques: The Candidate Should Possess A Wide Range Of Carpentry Skills, Including But Not Limited To Cabinet Installation, Trim Work, And Furniture Assembly.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Retail Finish Carpenter At Ikea, Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensuring The Final Product Meets The Company's High Standards. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Correct Any Imperfections.
