  1. Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon entering the store.
  2. Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  3. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
  4. Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Provide excellent customer service by actively listening and addressing any customer issues or complaints.
  6. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures to accurately answer customer inquiries.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of customers through the checkout process.
  8. Keep checkout area clean and organized, including restocking bags and supplies as needed.
  9. Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions to continuously improve customer service skills and knowledge of products.
  10. Demonstrate a strong understanding of IKEA's values and mission to create a better everyday life for customers.
  11. Take initiative to solve customer problems and escalate any issues to a supervisor as needed.
