- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with attention to detail and in accordance with company policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor if needed.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all store products and promotions to assist customers with inquiries and purchases.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Keep checkout counters and surrounding areas clean and organized at all times.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new cashiers and customer service associates.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations at the checkout counters.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect company assets and prevent loss.

Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have Good Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.
Cash Handling Experience: As A Cashier, The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Handling Cash Transactions And Operating A Cash Register Accurately And Efficiently.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations: This Role Requires An Understanding Of Retail Store Operations, Including Inventory Management, Stocking, And Merchandising, To Assist Customers With Their Needs.
Strong Attention To Detail: A Cashier Must Have A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail When Handling Cash And Processing Transactions To Ensure No Errors Occur.
