  1. Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the store premises at all times.
  2. Implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures to minimize theft and fraud.
  3. Conduct regular safety and security audits to identify and address any potential risks or hazards.
  4. Train and educate co-workers on safety and loss prevention protocols.
  5. Collaborate with management and co-workers to develop and implement safety and security measures.
  6. Respond to and investigate any safety or security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of safety and security incidents.
  8. Conduct regular inspections of the store to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and safety.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with any safety concerns or inquiries.
  11. Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious or concerning behavior.
  12. Communicate effectively with management and co-workers to address safety and security issues.
  13. Assist with emergency response procedures and drills.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management in support of the overall store operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention And Safety Policies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention And Safety Policies, Procedures, And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Cctv Systems, Alarm Systems, And Other Security Measures.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Loss Prevention & Safety Associate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Store Management, Employees, And Customers. They Should Be Able To Handle Potentially Confrontational Situations With Professionalism And Diffuse Them In A Calm And Respectful Manner.

  • Attention To Detail: In Order To Identify And Prevent Potential Security Threats, A Loss Prevention & Safety Associate Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail. They Should Be Able To Spot Suspicious Behavior Or Activities And Take Appropriate Action.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Role May Require Standing Or Walking For Extended Periods Of Time, As Well As The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Handle The Demands Of The Job.

  • Prior Experience In Loss Prevention: While Not Always Required, Prior Experience In Loss Prevention Or A Related Field Is Highly Valued For This Role. This Could Include Previous Work In Security, Law Enforcement, Or Retail Loss Prevention.
