  1. Oversee and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and fraud within the retail environment.
  2. Monitor and review CCTV footage to identify any potential security threats or suspicious behavior.
  3. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
  4. Train and educate store employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  5. Respond to and handle any emergency situations that may arise, such as accidents or theft.
  6. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement safety and security policies.
  7. Investigate and document any incidents of theft or safety violations.
  8. Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers regarding safety and security concerns.
  9. Maintain accurate records and reports related to loss prevention and safety.
  10. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to loss prevention and safety.
  11. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address any potential hazards.
  12. Work closely with local law enforcement and other security agencies.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as HR, to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all employees.
  14. Stay up to date on all safety and security regulations and laws.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Loss Prevention: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Loss Prevention Role, Preferably In A Retail Setting. They Should Be Familiar With Store Security Systems And Procedures, And Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures, Including Fire Safety, Emergency Response, And Accident Prevention. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Potential Safety Hazards And Take Appropriate Action To Mitigate Risks.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For This Role, As The Candidate Will Need To Interact With Customers, Co-Workers, And Law Enforcement Agencies. They Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Professionally, Both Verbally And In Writing.

  • Attention To Detail: A Successful Loss Prevention & Safety Associate Must Have A Strong Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Suspicious Behavior Or Activities. They Should Also Be Meticulous In Their Documentation And Reporting Of Incidents.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment. They Should Be Able To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks, While Still Maintaining A Focus On Loss Prevention And Safety. They Should Also Be Able To Remain Calm And Handle Stressful Situations With Professionalism.
