As a Loss Prevention & Safety Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our customers, co-workers, and company assets.   1. Monitor and enforce safety protocols: The Loss Prevention & Safety Associate will be responsible for regularly monitoring and enforcing safety protocols in all areas of the store, including the sales floor, warehouse, and parking lot.
  2. Conduct safety audits: This role will involve conducting regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and address any safety concerns promptly.
  3. Investigate incidents: In the event of any safety or security incidents, the Loss Prevention & Safety Associate will be responsible for conducting a thorough investigation and taking appropriate action to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  4. Train and educate co-workers: The successful candidate will be responsible for training and educating co-workers on safety procedures and protocols, as well as promoting a safety-conscious culture within the store.
  5. Monitor CCTV and alarms: The Loss Prevention & Safety Associate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras and alarms to quickly respond to any security or safety threats.
  6. Collaborate with external agencies: This role will involve collaborating with external agencies, such as law enforcement and fire departments, to ensure the store is prepared for emergency situations.
  7. Maintain safety equipment: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and first aid kits, are regularly inspected, maintained, and stocked.
  8. Report and document incidents: The Loss Prevention & Safety Associate will be responsible for accurately reporting and documenting all safety and security incidents, as well as maintaining records of safety training and audits.
  9. Stay up-to-date on safety regulations: It will be the responsibility of the successful candidate to stay informed and up-to-date on all safety regulations and make necessary updates to the store's safety procedures.
  10. Communicate safety updates: This role will involve communicating any safety updates or changes to co-workers and managers to ensure everyone is aware of the latest safety protocols and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention And Safety Procedures: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention And Safety Procedures, Including Risk Assessment, Incident Response, And Emergency Protocols.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Loss Prevention & Safety Associate, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. This Includes Being Able To Spot Potential Safety Hazards, Identify Suspicious Behavior, And Accurately Document Incidents.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential For This Role, As The Loss Prevention & Safety Associate Will Need To Interact With Customers, Team Members, And Management On A Regular Basis. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.

  • Physical Fitness And Agility: This Position May Require Physical Activity, Such As Standing For Long Periods, Walking Or Patrolling Store Aisles, And Lifting Or Moving Heavy Objects. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle These Tasks.

  • Experience In Retail Environment: Experience In A Retail Environment Is Highly Desirable For This Role. Familiarity With Store Layouts, Merchandise, And Customer Behavior Can Be A Significant Asset In Loss Prevention And Safety Efforts.
