As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our store and its assets, as well as creating a safe and secure environment for our customers and co-workers.   1. Monitor store premises and surveillance cameras to identify and prevent potential security and safety risks.
  2. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  3. Respond to and investigate any incidents or suspicious activity, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation.
  4. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement security and safety protocols.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, investigations, and other relevant information.
  6. Train and educate store staff on safety procedures and protocols.
  7. Conduct regular safety audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
  8. Monitor inventory and assist with identifying and preventing theft or loss.
  9. Work closely with law enforcement and other external agencies when necessary.
  10. Proactively identify potential safety hazards and take necessary steps to eliminate or minimize the risk.
  11. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any security or safety concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and safety.
  13. Assist with emergency preparedness and response plans.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner.
  15. Act as a role model for safety and security practices, promoting a culture of accountability and responsibility.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: Candidates For This Position Should Possess A Solid Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Strategies, Including But Not Limited To Cctv Surveillance, Alarm Systems, And Inventory Control Measures.

  • Experience In Safety Procedures: A Successful Candidate Should Have Experience In Implementing And Enforcing Safety Procedures In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment. This May Include Conducting Safety Audits, Developing Safety Training Programs, And Ensuring Compliance With Osha Regulations.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Colleagues Is Crucial In This Role. A Loss Prevention & Safety Associate Should Be Able To Diffuse Potentially Volatile Situations And Effectively Communicate Safety Protocols To Team Members.

  • Attention To Detail: A Key Aspect Of This Position Is Identifying And Preventing Potential Safety Hazards And Instances Of Theft. Therefore, Attention To Detail And The Ability To Spot Suspicious Behavior Or Safety Concerns Are Essential Qualifications.

  • Team Player: This Role Involves Working Closely With Other Team Members, Store Managers, And External Partners. A Successful Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Being A Team Player And Collaborating Effectively With Others To Achieve Common Goals.
