  1. Ensure the safety and security of customers, co-workers, and company assets.
  2. Monitor and prevent theft and loss within the store.
  3. Conduct regular safety and security checks throughout the store.
  4. Investigate any incidents of theft, fraud, or safety violations.
  5. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
  6. Train and educate co-workers on safety and security practices.
  7. Maintain accurate records of incidents and safety measures.
  8. Collaborate with store leadership and external partners to address safety and security concerns.
  9. Respond to and handle emergency situations effectively.
  10. Continuously assess and improve safety and security measures.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in safety and loss prevention.
  12. Communicate and report any safety or security issues to appropriate parties.
  13. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
  14. Assist in the development of safety and security policies and procedures.
  15. Provide excellent customer service and support to create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Procedures: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Strategies And Procedures, Including Inventory Control, Monitoring Cctv Footage, And Conducting Internal Investigations.

  • Experience In Retail Industry: Prior Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Loss Prevention Or Safety Role, Is Highly Desirable. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Familiarity With The Unique Challenges Of Loss Prevention In A Retail Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Loss Prevention & Safety Associate, You Will Be Required To Communicate With Different Teams And Individuals Within The Store, As Well As With External Partners. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Therefore Essential For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial For Identifying Potential Security Risks And Safety Hazards. Candidates Should Be Able To Spot Suspicious Behavior, Discrepancies In Inventory, And Any Other Potential Threats To The Store's Safety And Security.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Their Implementation In The Workplace Is Necessary For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Fire Codes, Emergency Procedures, And Other Safety Protocols. Candidates With Prior Safety Training Or Certifications Will Have An Advantage.
