Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Procedures: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Strategies And Procedures, Including Inventory Control, Monitoring Cctv Footage, And Conducting Internal Investigations.
Experience In Retail Industry: Prior Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Loss Prevention Or Safety Role, Is Highly Desirable. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Familiarity With The Unique Challenges Of Loss Prevention In A Retail Environment.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Loss Prevention & Safety Associate, You Will Be Required To Communicate With Different Teams And Individuals Within The Store, As Well As With External Partners. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Therefore Essential For This Role.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial For Identifying Potential Security Risks And Safety Hazards. Candidates Should Be Able To Spot Suspicious Behavior, Discrepancies In Inventory, And Any Other Potential Threats To The Store's Safety And Security.
Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Their Implementation In The Workplace Is Necessary For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Fire Codes, Emergency Procedures, And Other Safety Protocols. Candidates With Prior Safety Training Or Certifications Will Have An Advantage.
