Loss Prevention and Safety Associate

At IKEA, we’re looking for a Loss Prevention and Safety Associate to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Loss Prevention and Safety Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring customer safety, detecting and deterring theft, and developing and implementing safety policies. We are looking for someone who is passionate about safety and security, and who is eager to make a positive difference in our customers’ experience at IKEA.The ideal candidate for this position has a combination of strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. They must be organized and detail-oriented, with a professional and friendly demeanor. A successful candidate must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to think on their feet. The ability to take initiative and proactively identify potential risks is a must. A minimum of two years’ experience in loss prevention, customer service, and/or safety is required. If you have a degree in criminal justice, security, or a related field, that is a plus.
