Job Description

At IKEA, we are looking for a Logistics Operations Specialist who is passionate about making a difference to join our team. You will play a key role in the efficient running of our operations by ensuring that all logistics processes are executed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker, highly organized, and has excellent problem solving skills.To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field. You must have prior experience in supply chain management, logistics operations, and/or warehouse operations. You must be knowledgeable in inventory management and have an understanding of international regulations and requirements. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement efficient logistics processes to ensure timely and accurate execution of all operations.
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, and ensure compliance with international regulations and requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and customers.
  4. Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and develop strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Manage the warehouse operations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness of operations.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the logistics operations.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
  8. Manage the budget for logistics operations.
  9. Generate regular reports on the performance of the logistics operations.
  10. Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address them.
