  1. Manage the transportation and distribution of goods to IKEA stores worldwide.
  2. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  3. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
  5. Monitor and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  6. Communicate with store managers to ensure smooth delivery and stock management.
  7. Conduct regular assessments of transportation providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve logistics operations.
  9. Handle any issues or delays in delivery with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any concerns.
  11. Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to coordinate logistics efforts.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in transportation and distribution.
  13. Train and supervise logistics team members to maintain a high level of performance.
  14. Participate in meetings and provide regular reports on logistics operations and performance.
  15. Contribute to the overall mission of IKEA to create a better everyday life for our customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Logistics Operations, Preferably In A Retail Or Distribution Environment.

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems Such As Sap, Wms, And Tms.
