
Logistics Operations Specialist

- Oversee the daily operations of the supply chain, including transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to various IKEA locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies and initiatives.
- Manage and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to logistics operations.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for logistics operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain to minimize disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Train and develop team members on logistics processes and procedures.
- Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders, including senior management and other departments within IKEA.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments and make recommendations for improvements to the supply chain.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics operations.
- Adhere to IKEA's values and principles, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Logistics Operations, Preferably In A Retail Or E-Commerce Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Transportation, Warehousing, And Inventory Management.
Proficiency In Using Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
