As an IKEA Logistics Operations Specialist, you will work closely with our global supply chain network to optimize processes and deliver exceptional customer service.   1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain process, including coordinating with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  2. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective supply chain operations.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transportation providers to ensure high-quality service and timely delivery of goods.
  5. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any disruptions to the supply chain.
  6. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
  8. Train and mentor team members on supply chain processes and procedures, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive supply chain optimization.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation related to supply chain operations.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory management, to ensure a seamless flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
  13. Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the supply chain process, utilizing problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on logistics and supply chain management, providing guidance and support to other team members as needed.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of supply chain processes and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Operations, Preferably In A Retail Or Distribution Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Transportation Regulations, Customs Compliance, And International Trade.

  • Proficient In Using Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, To Track Shipments And Manage Inventory.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
